Our Single Session Pass gives certified scuba divers, freedivers, and mermaid divers access to a dedicated training environment.

Session Details

• Location: Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre (UTSC), Scarborough, Toronto

• Schedule: Every Friday, excluding Good Friday and Boxing Day

• Session Duration: 90 minutes

• Eligibility: Certified Scuba Divers, Freedivers & Mermaid Divers

• Registration Deadline: Every Thursday for the upcoming Friday session

What Can You Do During Your Session?

• Practice scuba diving skills and buoyancy control

• Improve freediving techniques and water confidence

• Practice mermaid swimming and underwater movement

• Test and adjust personal diving equipment

• Maintain your skills between dive trips

Important: This pass provides access to a pool practice session only. It does not include formal instruction, certification training, or individual instructor supervision.

All activities must comply with facility rules, applicable safety procedures, and Rui Diving Centre's pool policies.

Requirements & Registration Policy

• Valid Certification Required: Participants must hold an Open Water Diver, Freediving, or Mermaid certification appropriate for their intended activity.

• Certification Verification: Participants must submit proof of certification before their booking is confirmed.

• Liability Waiver: A completed liability waiver is mandatory before entering the pool.

• Advance Registration: Registration closes every Thursday for that Friday's session.

• Limited Capacity: Pool access is subject to capacity, insurance limitations, and operational availability.

• Booking Confirmation: Purchasing or registering for a pass does not guarantee admission. Your spot is confirmed only after receiving confirmation from Rui Diving Centre.

• Safety & Facility Rules: All participants must follow the pool's safety regulations and Rui Diving Centre's instructions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a diving certification?

Yes. This session is available only to appropriately certified scuba divers, freedivers, and mermaid divers. It is not a beginner discovery experience.

Can I attend just one session?

Yes. The Single Session Pass is designed for occasional visitors and certified divers who do not need an annual pass.

Is diving equipment included?

No. Participants should bring their own appropriate equipment. Contact Rui Diving Centre in advance to inquire about available rental options.

Can I practice freediving or mermaid skills?

Yes, provided you hold the appropriate certification and follow the required buddy, supervision, and safety procedures. Breath-hold activities must never be practiced alone.

Does purchasing a pass guarantee entry?

No. Due to limited capacity and insurance requirements, your booking is only confirmed after Rui Diving Centre approves your registration.
