Open Water Course

Discover Scuba Diving — it’s basically a trial dive, not a full certification course.

An Open Water Full Course is the beginner-level certification for scuba diving. It’s the first step that allows you to dive independently (with a buddy) anywhere in the world.

An Open Water Referral is basically a split version of the full Open Water course — you do the theory + pool training in one place, and finish your open water dives somewhere else (usually on vacation).

Open Water Checkout Dives are the final step of your Open Water certification — this is where you move from the pool into real open water.

In scuba diving, a “refresher” (or Scuba Review / Reactivate) is a short session to get your skills back if you haven’t dived in a while.
