About the Course
Enriched Air, also known as Nitrox or EANx, refers to breathing gas with a lower percentage of nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can often enjoy longer no-decompression dive times and shorter surface intervals. It’s no surprise that Enriched Air Diver is one of the most popular PADI® Specialty courses.
In this course, you will learn how to dive with enriched air, how to use an oxygen analyzer, and how to set your dive computer correctly. You will also learn about different nitrox blending methods, enriched air regulations in different regions, and how to calculate maximum operating depth.
This course does not require any in-water training.
Participants must hold an Open Water Diver certification or an equivalent diving qualification.
