Day 1 – Playa del Carmen Caribbean Reef Diving

2 Guided Ocean Dives

Begin your adventure in the beautiful Caribbean waters off Playa del Carmen.

Diving Experience

Located just offshore from Playa del Carmen, Cozumel offers a different underwater experience from the mainland reefs.

Typical Trip Duration: Approximately 5–6 hours.

Important: Recreational cenote cavern diving is not the same as technical cave diving. Full cave penetration and other activities beyond recreational cavern limits require specialized training and certification.

Small-Group Diving Experience

We believe a great diving vacation should be comfortable, enjoyable, and appropriately organized.

Our Mexico diving arrangements prioritize professional local guidance and small groups.

The reference Full Experience itinerary uses the following maximum guide ratios:

• Ocean boat diving: up to 5 divers per guide

• Cenote diving: up to 4 divers per guide

Actual group sizes and guide arrangements will be confirmed for your booking and must comply with applicable safety standards.

Who Is This Package For?

This diving package is designed for certified recreational scuba divers who want to experience several different diving environments during one vacation.

Minimum Requirements

• PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification

• Appropriate recent diving experience

• Good buoyancy control

• Medical fitness for scuba diving

• Ability to follow dive guide instructions

• Completion of required liability and medical documentation

Certain dive sites may require Advanced Open Water certification, additional experience, or other qualifications.

Open Water certified divers are welcome, but individual dives will be selected to remain within their existing training and experience limits.

Divers who have not been diving recently may be advised to complete a scuba refresher before participating.
